Dr. J V Desai, is a distinguished alumnus of IIT Bombay with a remarkable career
spanning over 40 years in academia and the professional world. Dr. J.V. Desai's expertise
primarily revolves around the ever-evolving realms of Machine Learning and Deep Learning.
Notably, he has guided research scholars in crafting predictive models based on Machine
Learning, which find applications in both engineering and business analytics.In addition
to his academic pursuits, Dr. Desai has played pivotal roles in various national and
international academic and accreditation bodies, including NBA, NAAC, and ABET. His
influence extends to several prestigious universities where he has held senior management
positions, leaving a lasting impact on the academic landscape. Dr. Desai's commitment to
knowledge knows no bounds, as he has crisscrossed the globe to participate in seminars
and deliver enlightening lectures across a spectrum of subjects. Furthermore, his research
prowess is evident in the multitude of research papers gracing esteemed national and
international journals. Beyond his impressive academic achievements, Dr. J.V. Desai is a Prof. J V Desai
fervent advocate for global education, deep-rooted research, and cutting-edge technologies.
His contributions are not limited to the academic sphere; he has been a sought-after Director General, MAIT
speaker on pivotal topics such as the New Education Policy (NEP) 2020, Artificial
Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and cognitive system engineering.

As MATES celebrates its glorious silver jubilee this year, it embarks on a new chapter
in its journey too. It was a delightful moment when MATES launched its newest academic
initiative, the Maharaja Agrasen Business School (MABS) in 2023. MABS is envisioned as
a robust institution envisaged to emerge as a nationally and internationally recognized leader
in meeting challenges of the future through excellence in higher education. MABS is aimed
to focus on growth in interdisciplinary approaches in the areas of established strength and
future needs. The PGDM program of MABS is currently approved by the All India Council
for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of Education, Govt. of India. It is a highly
professional program blended with the dynamic requirements of the industry. Grant Thornton
Bharat, one of India's leading professional services firms has collaborated with MABS on
various initiatives aimed at providing technical education futuristic and employment specific
business analytical technical education and skill enhancement opportunities to our students.
