TAKE ON THE GLOBAL STAGE AT ASHRAE INTERNATIONAL
CONFERENCE, CHICAGO-USA
It is with immense pride that we share
the remarkable achievements of the
ASHRAE Student Branch MAIT as they
participated in the esteemed ASHRAE
Winter Conference 2024 held at Chicago
from January 20- 24, 2024. This annual
conference, hosted by the American
Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-
Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE),
serves as a premier platform for industry
professionals, researchers, and students to
delve into the latest advancements in
HVAC&R technology and practices.
During the conference, Dr Vaibhav
Jain, HoD, Mechanical Engineering,
MAIT garnered significant recognition for
the Project titled "Design and
Development of three stage vapor
compression system for ultra-low
temperature refrigeration application"
(project funded by ASHRAE with USD
4980) along with Mr Prakhar, Student,
MAIT. Their project was selected among
the top two grants for presentation at the
conference, showcasing the innovative
work being conducted at MAIT. The total
budget of USD 5000 was given to the team
for air transportation and hotel stay.
During the conference, Dr. Vaibhav Jain was honoured
with the prestigious SBA (Student Branch Advisor) award his attendance at the conference. This conference provided
