                       A WEBINAR ON 'MOTIVATING ENTREPRENEURSHIP:
                                                   IGNITING SUCCESS'




                BIZMIND, the Entrepreneurship Cell of MAIMS, in collaboration with IIC organized a webinar on "Motivating Entrepreneurship:
            Igniting Success" on August 27, 2023. Mr. Mukul Chhabra was invited as the guest speaker for the webinar. Mukul Chhabra is an
            illustrious alumnus of IIIT Delhi and the founder of Scrap Uncle, formerly known as "Scrapdeal." He gained widespread recognition for
            his appearance on the television show "Shark Tank," where he showcased his innovative venture, Scrap Uncle. This platform connects
            scrap sellers with buyers, revolutionizing the recycling industry.
                The webinar was a resounding success, leaving attendees inspired and motivated. Mukul Chhabra shared his remarkable entrepreneurial
            journey, shedding light on the challenges he encountered while managing his engineering studies and startup simultaneously. His transition
            from "Scrapdeal" to "Scrap Uncle" demonstrated his adaptability and determination in response to market dynamics.  

                               'SHOW STOPPER - TALENT HUNT' AT MAIMS



                The "Showstopper" Talent Acquisition Event, organized by Department of JMC, Maharaja
            Agrasen Institute of Management Studies in collaboration with the India Today Group, unfolded
            on the college grounds with great enthusiasm and energy on September 22, 2023. This event
            aimed to showcase the diverse talents of our students and provide them with a platform to shine on
            the national stage. The event was hosted by the famous television anchor, Shweta Jha, who added
            charisma and excitement to the proceedings.
                The event commenced with an inaugural address by Dr. Nand Kishore Garg, Founder Chairman
            and Chief Advisor, MATES who emphasized the importance of nurturing talent and providing
            opportunities for students to showcase their abilities. He expressed his pride in the college's
            association with the India Today Group and its commitment to promoting talent.
                The heart of the event lay in the remarkable performances by our talented students. The
            participants, a total of 80 in number, displayed a wide array of skills and talents. From singing and
            dancing to stand-up comedy and magic tricks, the event showcased the incredible diversity of
            talents among our students. The most exciting aspect of the “Showstopper” event was the grand
            prize. The winner of the competition was granted a golden opportunity to feature on a national
            platform, thanks to the generous collaboration with the India Today Group. This added an extra
            layer of motivation and excitement to the competition, encouraging participants to give their best.

                           AWARENESS CAMPAIGN IN BEGUMPUR VILLAGE



                The Legal Service Clinic at MAIMS, in collaboration with Northwest DLSA, undertook a remarkable initiative on December
            7, 2023. Commencing at 10 am, a proactive Awareness Drive took place in Begumpur Village. This endeavor aimed to enlighten
            individuals from weaker and marginalized sections about their legal rights and the available avenues for accessing legal aid
            services.
                To fortify this awareness campaign, officials from DLSA and police escorts joined forces, ensuring a unified effort to reach
            out to the community. The drive was skillfully supported and guided by Ms. Purnima Gupta, the Legal Services Officer of the
            Legal Service Clinic at MAIMS. Her active engagement played a pivotal role in steering the students throughout the initiative. To
            maximize the impact of the campaign, DLSA officials utilized speakers to make informative announcements, amplifying the
            message and reaching a broader audience. Strategically placed banners adorned the area, catching the attention of residents.
            Additionally, pamphlets containing crucial contacts and information about Delhi Legal Service Aid were distributed, equipping
            individuals with easily accessible resources.
