A SEMINAR ON 'PREPARATION STRATEGY FOR MBA ENTRANCE
EXAMS' IN COLLABORATION WITH CAREER LAUNCHER
Manthan- The Literary and Debating society of MAIMS in collaboration with
Career Launcher, organized a seminar titled "Preparation Strategy for the MBA
Entrance Exam" on September 13th, 2023. Mr. Navneet Anand, the Business Head of
Career Launcher was invited as the speaker in the seminar. The seminar aimed to
provide valuable insights into MBA entrance exam preparation and offered a platform
for interaction and learning. The seminar began with an engaging introduction to the
topic of "Preparation Strategy for the MBA Entrance Exam." Navneet Sir, an expert
in the field, shared his insights and knowledge with the attendees. The Seminar
included intriguing puzzles that engaged the participants in critical thinking skills.
Subsequently, several engaging activities were planned and conducted by the head,
to actively involve the attendees. The seminar was attended by 59 Final Year students
of different departments.
OLD PARLIAMENT VISIT BY B.A.L.L.B. STUDENTS
The students of first year B.A.L.L.B. (2023-28) batch
were taken for an educational visit to the Old Parliament of
India as a part of their PSDA activity in History. A total of
139 students accompanied by five faculty members-Dr.
Anuradha Asthana Singh, Dr. Nirdosh Kumar, Dr. Monica
Jain, Ms. Swati Goel and Ms. Meenakshi Gupta reached the
old Parliament building gate and after proper security checks
entered the premises. First of all, a briefing about the
constitutional development and the working of the Parliament
was done by the present Director PRIDE, the Lok Sabha
Secretariat, Dr. Prashant Mullick. The students got to know
about the process followed during the debates in the
Parliament.
Then the students moved to the historic Parliament
Library, 2nd largest library in India which has a huge
collection of rare books and documents. The first copy of our Constitution also lies here. After this, the students were first
taken to the "House of the People" or the "Lok Sabha" and the "Upper House" or the "Rajya Sabha". The functioning and the
sitting arrangement of the both houses were explained in detail by the Parliament Staff. After that the students were taken to
the Central Hall which has the seating capacity to accommodate 12 people. The briefing staff cleared the doubts of students
on certain matters. After getting a group picture clicked on the lawns of the Parliament the students rushed for lunch which
was quite sumptuous. In post lunch session students shared their experiences and queries with the teachers and Dr. VK
Bhatnagar, Adjunct Professor, MAIMS.
