Director MAIT; and Prof. S.S. Deswal, Dean Academics emphasizing theory, simulations, and lab research. After a
MAIT, with General Chair Prof. Namita Gupta, Head of two-stage review, 19 papers were selected: 6 were published
CSE MAIT. The Conference Chair was Dr. Deepak Gupta, in the Intelligent Decision Technologies Journal (indexed
and the Organizing Chairs included Mr. Anupam Kumar, by Scopus and ESCI) and 13 in CEUR workshop proceedings
(indexed by Scopus).

5-DAY FACULTY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM ON "GENERATIVE AI"

A 5-Day Faculty Development Program on "Generative AI" from 8th
July to 12th July 2024 was organized by the Department of Computer
Science & Engineering MAIT, New Delhi, in collaboration with Azure
Developer Community and Reskilll. With a total registration of 132 faculty
members, this Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on Generative AI
provided participants with a thorough understanding and practical expertise
in advanced artificial intelligence techniques, with a special emphasis on
Generative AI technologies. The speakers for the sessions were Mr. Naman
Bansal, Senior Software Development Engineer at Microsoft, and Mr.
Siddharth Chopra, Generative AI trainer and researcher. Along with the
speakers, we also had Mr. Rohit Sardana, CoFounder & CEO, Reskilll, and
Ms. Sanya Duggal, Partner Go-to-Market & Strategy Manager at Microsoft,
to enlighten the participants. The FDP was concluded with a visit at Microsoft, Gurugram, from 10th July 2024-12th July 2024.
The combined and tedious efforts of the organizing committee headed by Prof. Namita Gupta, Organising Secretary FDP and
HOD, CSE, Ms. Kavita Saxena (Convenor), Mr. Anupam Kumar (Convenor), and faculty coordinators Ms. Deepti Gupta, Ms.
Zameer Fatima, Dr. Deepak Gupta, Dr. Farzil Kidwai, Ms. Garima Gupta, Mr. Ajay Tiwari, Dr. Sudha Narang, Ms. Karuna
Middha, Ms. Shallu Juneja, Ms. Sakshi Jha, and Mr. Akshay Mool made the FDP a great success. 
